Showdown
High School Mock Trial Tournament
The University of Maryland Mock Trial Program is proud to announce that we are hosting a one-day mock trial tournament for Maryland high schools to help prepare for MYLaw’s competitive season. The Red Shell Showdown will be on Saturday, December 12, 2026 and will use the '26-'27 MYLaw mock trial case.
Why Compete in The Red Shell Showdown?
Individualized Feedback
After each round, students will receive individualized feedback on their performances from members, coaches, and alumni of Maryland Mock Trial.
Access to Exclusive Workshops
When you register, you will be able to attend two online workshops taught by coaches and students from Maryland Mock Trial.
Practice Makes Perfect
We hope to offer an educational and affordable experience so that teams may be able to improve their skills and test their theories before their official MYLaw rounds.
